BEIJING, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- China will hold various Chinese dream-themed cultural activities for the public during the upcoming New Year and Spring Festival holidays, according to a circular issued by Chinese authorities on Sunday.

Departments of publicity and culture at all levels across the country should organize literary and art workers to conduct cultural activities and create art pieces for the masses during the holidays, said the circular jointly issued by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other authorities.

The aim of the campaign is to inspire people's confidence in securing the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and create a warm festive atmosphere, the circular said.
