In the women's singles final, Wang took the title after beating her teammate Ding Ning in 7 full games: 13-11, 9-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-8, 9-11, 11-5.

"Facing the challenge of young generation is quite normal for athletes. China has many outstanding players, I had the same experience too," said the grand slam winner.
